The Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE) 2026 runs from Monday 28 September to Saturday 3 October 2026 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC), West Bay, Doha. Doors open from 12:00 to 22:00 on weekdays and from 15:00 to 22:00 on Friday. It is the 22nd edition, organised by Qatar Tourism, and the first held in the autumn rather than in February.

What to see: the houses announced for 2026
The 2026 line-up announced by the organiser includes Cartier, Bvlgari and Chopard on the jewellery side, and Rolex and Patek Philippe among the watchmakers. The 2025 edition gathered more than 500 brands over 33,000 square metres, and the format repeats what makes DJWE different from a European fair: the stands belong to the Qatari retailers who sell these houses year-round, so the pieces on display are the pieces you can buy.
- Fifty One East brought Rolex, Chanel, Boucheron, Tudor and the Egyptian jeweller Azza Fahmy to its 2025 pavilion, staged around a single theme. Expect the same houses in 2026.
- Alfardan Jewellery, presided by Ali Hussain Alfardan, showed Vacheron Constantin and Chopard in 2025. Its stand is where the high-jewellery pieces and the limited references for the Gulf are usually kept.
- Al Majed Jewellery, with Jamil bin Mahdi Al Majed, anchors the Qatari houses and the pearl tradition of the Gulf.
- Three national pavilions returned in 2025, Qatari, Turkish and Indian, alongside a section for emerging Qatari designers. The Qatari pavilion is the place for pieces you will not find in Riyadh or Dubai.
Why Doha prices differ from Riyadh and Dubai
Qatar applies no VAT on watches and jewellery. Saudi Arabia charges 15 per cent and the UAE 5 per cent, both already included in the boutique ticket. On a reference priced at the equivalent of SAR 100,000 in Riyadh, the same watch in Doha is listed roughly 13 per cent lower before any negotiation, because the tax layer is absent. The brands set one recommended price per country, so the gap comes from tax, not from the retailer. Two cautions: a watch bought in Doha and brought into Saudi Arabia is declared at the border, where 5 per cent duty and 15 per cent VAT apply on the value, and allocation still decides what you can actually buy. How to plan a visit
Go on a weekday afternoon: the halls open at noon and the retailers’ brand managers are on the stands in the first hours. Friday opens at 15:00 only. Ask for the pieces reserved for the exhibition, which the retailers hold back for the six days, and ask for the price in QAR with the warranty card stamped by the retailer, since DJWE sales carry the same manufacturer warranty as a boutique purchase. Book an appointment through the retailer for Patek Philippe and Rolex: both allocate, and the exhibition does not change that. DECC sits on the Corniche in West Bay, ten minutes from Hamad International Airport by taxi and next to the DECC metro station on the Red Line.
The context
DJWE started in 2003 and has become the largest jewellery and watch exhibition in the Gulf by number of brands, ahead of the Jewellery & Watch Show in Abu Dhabi (11 to 15 November 2026) and Jewellery Arabia in Bahrain (24 to 28 November 2026).
