AUDEMARS PIGUET
Founded in 1875 and still owned by its founding families, Audemars and Piguet, Audemars Piguet stands as the oldest fine watchmaking manufacture to retain full family stewardship. Established in Le Brassus, in the Vallée de Joux at the heart of the Swiss Jura, the Maison has spent generations cultivating exceptional craftspeople, each contributing to an ever-evolving body of savoir-faire. This continuity has enabled the brand to preserve tradition while consistently challenging convention.
Heritage
For over a century and a half, Audemars Piguet has created horological masterpieces shaped by ancestral techniques and an uncompromising dedication to craft. Rooted in its historic birthplace, the Manufacture has continuously expanded its technical and artistic capabilities, setting new standards and establishing rule-breaking trends that have redefined high watchmaking.
Innovation
By pushing the boundaries of what is possible and building bridges between diverse creative worlds, Audemars Piguet has explored new horizons and fostered a vibrant, inspired community. In 2025, the brand marks its 150th anniversary by honoring the generations of talent that shaped its journey, while confidently looking ahead to the future. Grounded in heritage yet driven by innovation, Audemars Piguet continues its rhythm—proving that the beat, indeed, goes on.

Ilaria Resta / CEO
Ilaria Resta, the Swiss‑Italian executive, serves as the global CEO of Audemars Piguet, steering the independent manufacture well into her third year at the helm. Appointed as the brand’s first female CEO in January 2024, following a planned transition initiated in August 2023, she has since reinforced Audemars Piguet’s heritage of precision and innovation.
Breaking Barriers in Leadership
Under her leadership, Audemars Piguet has embraced bold cultural and strategic shifts: boutiques and marketing no longer categorize timepieces as “men’s” or “women’s” watches—a move aimed at broader inclusivity and consumer choice.
Beyond Watchmaking
Ilaria Resta also broadened her influence beyond horology, joining the board of Prada Group as an independent non-executive director in mid‑2025—a testament to her rising stature in the wider luxury sector. Through strategic innovation, inclusive design, and steady growth, Ilaria Resta is guiding Audemars Piguet toward a resilient and vibrant future.
