CHAUMET

Founded in Paris in 1780, Chaumet stands as one of the great Houses of French high jewellery and watchmaking, inseparable from Parisian elegance and royal heritage. Established by Marie-Étienne Nitot, jeweller to Marie-Antoinette and later official jeweller to Napoleon and Empress Joséphine, the Maison has shaped history through creations destined for emperors, courts, and nobility. Since 1812, Chaumet has been rooted at 12 Place Vendôme, a landmark address that embodies its enduring presence and prestige.

Legacy

From the Empire period through the Belle Époque and Art Deco eras, Chaumet has continuously evolved while preserving its identity. Its ateliers have crafted coronation regalia, tiaras, and exceptional jewels that reflect both artistic refinement and technical mastery. Over time, the Maison expanded its creative language, introducing iconic collections such as Liens, Joséphine, and Bee de Chaumet, each expressing symbolism, elegance, and emotional connection.

Craftsmanship

Now part of the LVMH Group, Chaumet continues to create high jewellery, refined jewellery collections, and luxury watches that unite Swiss watchmaking with Parisian savoir-faire. Still crafted with a deep respect for tradition, each piece reflects a commitment to artisanal excellence passed from generation to generation. Chaumet remains a House where history, craftsmanship, and timeless design converge in a uniquely Parisian expression of luxury.
