The Original Navygraf and What This Release Changes

The Navygraf line has always centred on compact proportions and genuine water resistance. This edition shifts the dial material entirely, replacing conventional lacquer or metal with a section of Muonionalusta, one of the oldest known meteorites, formed roughly 4.5 billion years ago in the metallic core of an early planetoid. According to YEMA, the material was already cooling in space before Earth had fully formed.

The case dimensions stay true to the Navygraf’s established character: 39mm across, 46mm lug-to-lug, and 11mm thick. Titanium throughout keeps weight low and corrosion resistance high, two properties that suit the watch’s marine credentials without adding bulk on the wrist.

The Dial: A Geological Record

Deep inside its parent body, iron and nickel crystallised over millions of years into the Widmanstätten pattern, a geometric lattice that no industrial process can reproduce at the same scale. Cut and polished, the material reveals bands that shift in density and direction, appearing finer in some areas, broader in others. As the wrist turns, light draws out different sections of the lattice.

Polished applied hour markers and hands maintain legibility across the changing surface. Grade A BGW9 Super-LumiNova on the markers, all three hands and the bezel triangle at 12 o’clock ensures the display remains clear after dark, emitting a cool blue glow against the meteorite.
