DE BETHUNE

De Bethune is an independent Swiss watch Manufacture based in L’Auberson, in the Jura mountain pastures of the canton of Vaud. Within this setting, a team of around fifty specialists—watchmakers, engineers, designer-developers, micromechanical experts, polishers, and decorators—dedicates itself to the research and development of technical and aesthetic innovations, inspired by the spirit of the great 18th-century watchmakers. Every component is individually conceived and crafted with meticulous attention to detail, including signature finishes such as the Côtes de Bethune and refined Microlight engraving.

In-House Innovation

From its inception, De Bethune has designed, developed, and produced all of its timepieces entirely within its own Manufacture. This commitment to autonomy has led to the creation of no fewer than 31 calibres, approximately 30 world premieres, and numerous registered patents. The brand has also produced around 230 unique, one-off pieces, underscoring its capacity for invention and bespoke excellence.

Recognized with the highest distinctions awarded by the watch industry worldwide, De Bethune continues to advance under the leadership of co-founder and master watchmaker Denis Flageollet, alongside CEO Pierre Jacques.
