Kerbedanz and 10Ten Labs: Two Saudi-Exclusive Editions for Riyadh

Kerbedanz partners with 10Ten Labs in Saudi Arabia, unveiling two exclusive editions at Timeology Nights 2026 in Riyadh. Prices from CHF 34,000.

A Closer Look

  • Two case references, two distinct dials: the 65’27” Khozama pairs a 38mm Grade 5 titanium case with a natural Charoite stone dial, while the MAXSPOR GR8 41mm Wahaj introduces a salmon guilloché surface to the larger 41×50mm chronograph architecture — each dial an exclusive 10Ten Labs commission not available through any other retailer.
  • Both editions were announced on 12 October 2026 at Timeology Nights 2026 at the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, marking Kerbedanz’s formal retail entry into Saudi Arabia.
  • Prices are set at CHF 34,000 (Khozama) and CHF 38,000 (Wahaj), excluding taxes, available exclusively through 10Ten Labs in Riyadh.
  • Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals appear on both dials, grounding each piece in the cultural context for which it was designed.

Design & Character

Announced at Timeology Nights 2026 in Riyadh, the two editions share a Grade 5 titanium case construction but diverge completely in visual register. The Khozama takes its name from the Arabic word associated with lavender: its Charoite stone dial shifts between violet, lavender and deep purple depending on the light, and no two examples are identical given the mineral’s natural variation. The Wahaj — Arabic for radiance — responds to light differently, through the rhythm of its guilloché surface, whose salmon tones shift toward copper and rose as the dial moves.

Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals appear on both dials, an explicit reference to Saudi cultural identity. On the Khozama, a Breguet-style minute hand aligns above the hour marker and reveals its full position every 65 minutes and 27 seconds — the formal expression of the collection’s concentric rotating hour indication. On the Wahaj, the dial is open-worked, exposing the special balance wheel reversed to the dial side.

Movement & Materials

The Khozama runs on the automatic KRB10 A calibre, 25 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour. The Wahaj carries the KRB14-2, a 343-component automatic monopusher chronograph with 30-minute counter, 33 jewels, 48-hour power reserve, also at 28,800 vph. Water resistance on the Wahaj reaches 50 metres. The Khozama offers a choice of rubber or alligator leather strap with a Grade 5 titanium medallion buckle; the Wahaj ships on rubber with a titanium deployant and an interchangeable system.

The Partnership

10Ten Labs was founded in Riyadh in 2021 by Khaled Zainalabedin, entrepreneur and watch collector, as a destination for independent watchmaking in the Kingdom. The agreement with Kerbedanz — whose Neuchâtel-based Maison was founded in 2011 by Kalust Zorik and Aram Petrosyan — positions 10Ten Labs as the official Saudi retailer for the brand. Vahé Vartzbed, CEO of Kerbedanz, described the connection as immediate: “Saudi Arabia has become an increasingly important and sophisticated market for independent watchmaking, driven by collectors with genuine knowledge, curiosity and passion.”

For the Collector

Neither piece is a standard production reference. Both carry a limited-edition designation, are dedicated exclusively to 10Ten Labs, and bear dials that cannot be sourced elsewhere. For collectors in Riyadh seeking pieces with a direct cultural anchor alongside Swiss mechanical substance, Khozama and Wahaj address that demand with specificity rather than gesture.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the two Kerbedanz special editions created for 10Ten Labs?

Kerbedanz produced two exclusive pieces: the 65'27'' Khozama, featuring a natural Charoite stone dial in violet and purple tones, and the MAXSPOR GR8 41mm Wahaj, distinguished by a salmon-coloured guilloché dial. Both carry Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals and are dedicated exclusively to 10Ten Labs in Riyadh.

Where can collectors in Saudi Arabia purchase the Kerbedanz Khozama and Wahaj editions?

Both editions are available exclusively through 10Ten Labs, a Riyadh-based retailer specialising in independent watchmaking, founded in 2021 by Khaled Zainalabedin.

What movements power the Kerbedanz Khozama and Wahaj special editions?

The 65'27'' Khozama is powered by the automatic KRB10 A calibre with 25 jewels at 28,800 vph. The MAXSPOR GR8 41mm Wahaj uses the automatic KRB14-2 calibre, a 343-component monopusher chronograph with 48-hour power reserve and 33 jewels, also at 28,800 vph.

What is the price of the Kerbedanz Khozama and Wahaj editions?

The 65'27'' Khozama is priced at CHF 34,000 excluding taxes, and the MAXSPOR GR8 41mm Wahaj at CHF 38,000 excluding taxes.

Is the Kerbedanz Wahaj edition a suitable watch for a collector who values both cultural identity and mechanical complexity?

The Wahaj was conceived precisely for that profile. Its KRB14-2 calibre incorporates a monopusher chronograph with a special balance wheel reversed to the dial side, while its salmon guilloché surface and Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals reflect a deliberate cultural dialogue between Swiss watchmaking and Saudi identity.
