The WATCHESPEDIA Gulf Boutique Price Index records the official prices of 21 watches, jewels and fragrances, exactly as each house publishes them for six Middle East markets: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. This is the October 2026 edition: every price was read on 5 October 2026 on the house’s own website for each country, to show where the same reference is most accessible.
Prices verified on 5 October 2026. Next update: 1 November 2026.
Key findings this month
- Breitling, one figure in three currencies. The Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 is listed at 40,130 in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, in dirhams, Saudi riyals and Qatari riyals alike. Kuwait lists it at KWD 2,730, about USD 8,893, which makes Kuwait the most accessible of the six markets, roughly 19% below the Qatar equivalent of USD 11,025. The Chronomat B01 42 and the Superocean Automatic 44 follow the same pattern.
- Cartier Juste un Clou and Love. Both classic yellow gold bracelets are most accessible in Kuwait, at KWD 2,770 for the Juste un Clou and KWD 2,390 for the Love: about 14% below their Saudi equivalents of SAR 39,200 and SAR 33,800.
- Cartier Santos de Cartier. The medium steel model is listed at QAR 29,200 in Qatar, about USD 8,022, some 13% below its Saudi equivalent of SAR 34,600.
- Amouage Reflection Man. In Oman, home of the house, the 100 ml is billed at USD 364.12, about 14% below the UAE price of AED 1,550 (about USD 422).
- Rolex in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. For the Submariner 41, the Cosmograph Daytona 40 and the Datejust 41, the Saudi price is about 8.5% above the UAE price (8.4% to 8.5% in dollar terms). The gap is consistent with the difference in VAT between the two markets, 15% in Saudi Arabia against 5% in the UAE; the Rolex website does not state whether its prices include tax.
US dollar equivalents are indicative. They use the fixed dollar pegs of each currency: AED 3.6725, SAR 3.75, QAR 3.64, BHD 0.376 and OMR 0.3845 to one US dollar. The Kuwaiti dinar is not pegged to the dollar alone; an indicative rate of KWD 0.307 to one US dollar is used and read again at each edition.

Methodology
Every price in this index is read on the official website of each house, in the version it publishes for each country, on the date shown. Retailers, marketplaces and pre-owned listings are never used. A dash means that no official price could be read online for that country on the reading date.
The websites do not state whether their prices include tax. Prices are shown as displayed and may change without notice. Some houses, such as Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet, publish no online prices and are therefore not included. Rolex and Tudor display prices according to the visitor’s country.
Prices are checked every week; the page is updated whenever a house changes a price, and a full edition is published on the 1st of every month.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a luxury watch cost in the Gulf?
On the official websites of the houses, the 11 watches in this index range from AED 15,000 (Cartier Tank Must, large model) to AED 67,450 (Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 40) in the UAE, about USD 4,084 to USD 18,366, and from SAR 16,800 to SAR 74,700 in Saudi Arabia, on 5 October 2026. A Rolex Submariner 41 is listed at AED 40,350 and SAR 44,700. Some houses, such as Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet, publish no online prices.
Which Gulf country is cheapest for a Cartier Love bracelet?
Among the four markets where Cartier publishes an online price, Kuwait is the most accessible for the classic yellow gold Love bracelet (ref. CRB6067517): KWD 2,390, about USD 7,785, on 5 October 2026. It is listed at QAR 28,600 in Qatar, AED 30,200 in the UAE and SAR 33,800 in Saudi Arabia. Cartier publishes no online price for Bahrain or Oman.
Where is the Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 most accessible in the Middle East?
In Kuwait, at KWD 2,730, about USD 8,893. The UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar all list the same figure, 40,130, in their own currencies; Bahrain lists BHD 3,640 and Oman OMR 3,730.
Why is a Rolex priced higher in Saudi Arabia than in the UAE?
On 5 October 2026, the Submariner 41, the Cosmograph Daytona 40 and the Datejust 41 were about 8.5% higher in Saudi Arabia than in the UAE in dollar terms. The gap is consistent with the difference in VAT, 15% in Saudi Arabia against 5% in the UAE, although the Rolex website does not state whether its prices include tax.
Are luxury watches less expensive in Dubai than in Saudi Arabia?
For most references, yes. On 5 October 2026, the houses’ official UAE websites listed lower prices than their Saudi websites for 8 of the 11 watches in this index, by about 5% (IWC Portugieser Chronograph) to 10% (Cartier, Tudor) in dollar terms. Breitling is the exception: it lists the same figure in dirhams and Saudi riyals, and since the riyal is worth slightly less, its three watches are about 2% more accessible in Saudi Arabia.
Do the prices include VAT?
The official websites in this index do not state whether their prices include VAT, so every price is shown as displayed. For reference, VAT is 5% in the UAE and Oman, 10% in Bahrain and 15% in Saudi Arabia; Qatar and Kuwait apply none.
How are the dollar equivalents calculated?
They are indicative and use the fixed dollar pegs: AED 3.6725, SAR 3.75, QAR 3.64, BHD 0.376 and OMR 0.3845 to one US dollar. The Kuwaiti dinar is not pegged to the dollar alone, so an indicative rate of KWD 0.307 is used.
How often is the index updated?
Prices are checked every week on the official websites of the houses. The page is updated whenever a price changes, and a full edition is published on the 1st of every month.
