FutureGrail’s November Live Auction: A 1954 Patek Philippe Heads the Sale

FutureGrail hosts its first live auction in Singapore on 14 November 2026, with previews in Dubai, Geneva, Hong Kong and Singapore. Star lot: a 1954 Patek Philippe Ref.2526P.

What the Release Says

  • On 14 November 2026 at 5.30pm GMT+8, FutureGrail hosts its first in-person live auction at the Artyzen Hotel, Singapore, having operated exclusively online since 2023.
  • The star lot is a 1954 Patek Philippe Reference 2526P ‘Serpico y Laino’ in platinum with an enamel dial, never previously auctioned, estimated at USD 1 million to USD 2 million.
  • Pre-sale previews are scheduled across Hong Kong, Dubai, Geneva and Singapore; Dubai collectors can view the lots at ICD Brookfield, DIFC on 28 and 29 October.
  • Advance bids and remote live bidding are available via [email protected] and futuregrail.com.

Design & Mechanics

The unquestioned centrepiece of the sale is the 1954 Patek Philippe Reference 2526P, presented in platinum and carrying an enamel dial. Thought to be a unique example, it carries the provenance designation ‘Serpico y Laino’, linking it to the celebrated Caracas retailer whose name appears on some of the most prized mid-century Patek Philippe references. The watch has never appeared at public auction before, and FutureGrail carries it with an estimate of USD 1 million to USD 2 million.

Movement & Materials

Beyond the headline Patek Philippe, the catalogue of exceptional timepieces is broad in both era and complication. The 2004 F.P. Journe Octa Calendrier with a brass movement and gold dial, cased in platinum, carries an estimate of USD 400,000 to USD 600,000. A 2012 Cartier, reference W1556213, combines a tourbillon, perpetual calendar and single-button chronograph with baguette-cut diamond-set white gold; one of only five produced, it is estimated at USD 300,000 to USD 600,000. Other notable lots include the 1941 Patek Philippe Ref.1502J with its two-tone sector ‘Telephone’ dial, one of only two known examples, estimated at USD 150,000 to USD 300,000.
