F.P. JOURNE
For more than four decades, François-Paul Journe has devoted his life to inventing and making watches, guided by a singular objective: achieving the highest possible precision. This unwavering commitment to research and innovation defines F.P. Journe, an independent Manufacture positioned at the crossroads of art and haute horlogerie. Every creation reflects a rare consistency of vision, where technical rigor and intellectual curiosity coexist in perfect balance.
Invenit et Fecit
Producing around 1,000 mechanical watches per year, F.P. Journe operates as a world unto itself. The Manufacture has pursued extensive vertical integration, producing nearly all components within its own walls. Its movements, crafted in 18K rose gold—a first in watchmaking—bear the inscription Invenit et Fecit, affirming they are both invented and made in-house. Each watchmaker oversees the entire process from start to finish, reviving the highest traditions of haute horlogerie craftsmanship.
Lasting Legacy
Over the decades, F.P. Journe has established an exceptional pedigree through landmark creations such as the Tourbillon Souverain, the Chronomètre à Résonance, and the Octa automatic caliber. These timepieces exemplify the Manufacture’s pursuit of chronometric excellence and mechanical originality. Together, they embody a philosophy where independence, mastery, and precision define a modern yet timeless vision of haute horology.
