Louis Erard x Vianney Halter Futur Antérieur: 67-component stainless steel case, dual Sellita SW100 movements, 178 pieces each. CHF 4,950 excl. tax.
The Vantage Point
- Two automatic Sellita SW100 movements occupy a brand-new 67-component stainless steel case measuring 38 × 44 mm at just 8.85 mm thick — a case Louis Erard has never produced before.
- Each edition is limited to 178 pieces, Louis Erard’s signature collaboration number; Gold pairs gold-toned dials with black ostrich leather, Silver pairs rhodium-plated dials with blue ostrich leather.
- Yellow-gilt 1N rivets appear across both bezels and both crowns, creating a visual thread between the two editions.
- 78 paired sets offer both references together at CHF 9,900, excluding tax.
Design & Architecture
Two raised, riveted bezels frame two separate dials, each functioning as a window into Vianney Halter’s Antiqua vocabulary. One porthole carries the hours and minutes; the other, the seconds. The arrangement gives the dial side a depth that a conventional twin-register layout would not achieve, and the 8.85 mm case thickness keeps that sculptural face pressed close to the wrist.
Surface treatment varies by plane: circular brushing covers the face, vertical brushing runs along the sides, and polished edges trace the geometry where those planes meet. Every rivet, junction and chamfer is part of the composition rather than incidental detail.

Movement & Materials
Inside each porthole sits a Sellita SW100 calibre running at 28,800 vph with 25 jewels and a minimum 38-hour power reserve. The oscillating weights carry Côtes de Genève decoration and an engraved Louis Erard logo. Running two independent movements within a profile under 9 mm required, according to the brand, an entirely new case construction built from 67 components — a figure that underlines the mechanical complexity the slim silhouette conceals.
Both editions share Vianney Halter’s signature blued steel hands and two crowns, each set with six yellow-gilt 1N rivets. The Gold edition’s dials carry a yellow-gilt 1N finish; the Silver’s are rhodium-plated. Grained baseplates and circular-brushed outer rings with polished chamfers appear across all four dials.

Heritage & Lineage
Louis Erard and Vianney Halter have worked together since 2020. The Antiqua, Halter’s porthole-dial reference from his independent catalogue, provided the starting point each time. Futur Antérieur moves further into that territory than any prior joint release, borrowing the raised bezel language directly and translating it into a Le Noirmont-built construction. “You recognise the family, but you’ve never met this watch before,” Halter notes in the press release.
The name borrows a French grammatical tense: the future perfect, for what will have happened. Within the Louis Erard x Vianney Halter collaboration, the Futur Antérieur occupies the most technically ambitious position to date.
