PARMIGIANI FLEURIER
Parmigiani Fleurier was founded in 1996 in Fleurier, in the Val-de-Travers, by Michel Parmigiani, a master watchmaker who had built his reputation restoring some of the most complex historical clocks, watches and automata. Owned by the Sandoz Family Foundation, the Maison has made this culture of restoration the foundation of its creations, summed up in its own words: perpetuating mechanical art for the purist of tomorrow.
Restoration at the Origin
Michel Parmigiani restored masterpieces of the Maurice Sandoz Collection, preserved by the Fondation Édouard et Maurice Sandoz. Understanding before intervening remains the principle that links restoration, creation and innovation at the Maison, from La Rose Carrée, built around a grande sonnerie movement by Louis-Elisée Piguet, to the Carillon Tourbillon, whose serpentine gongs were inspired by a Perrin Frères pocket watch restored in its ateliers.
TORIC and TONDA PF
TORIC, the first collection, marks the thirtieth anniversary in 2026 with hand-hammered gold dials. Under Guido Terreni, chief executive since 2021, TONDA PF took its current form: knurled bezels, integrated bracelets and dials free of anything superfluous, extended by the Invisible Complications and the openworked Skeleton models. In September 2026, the exhibition Mechanical Wonders in Tokyo brings the restored masterpieces and the contemporary creations together for the anniversary.
