Six fashion tastemakers wore Frédérique Constant at FGI's 42nd Night of Stars gala in New York, including a first look at the 100-piece Perpetual Calendar.
Notes From the Release
- Limited to 100 pieces, the 40 mm Manufacture Classic Perpetual Calendar pairs an in-house FC-776 calibre with a sunray burgundy dial — its first public outing was on the wrist of stylist James Aguiar at the FGI Night of Stars gala on 14 October 2026, days before its official WatchTime New York reveal.
- Five other Frédérique Constant references appeared across the red carpet, from the quartz Classics Manchette in stacked diamond pavé to the automatic Classics Ladies Double Heart Beat in green malachite.
- The event, Fashion Group International’s 42nd annual Night of Stars, was held at the Rainbow Room in New York under the theme “The Modernists.”
- All pieces shown are available at us.frederiqueconstant.com.

The Perpetual Calendar Preview
One hundred examples of the new Manufacture Classic Perpetual Calendar exist — and the first seen publicly belonged to none of the usual trade channels.
James Aguiar arrived at the Rainbow Room wearing the reference before its official announcement, giving the FGI Night of Stars a quiet but pointed exclusivity. Frédérique Constant’s FC-776 calibre drives the display, covering hours, minutes, day, date, month, leap year and moon phase. A 72-hour power reserve accompanies both a black and a burgundy quick-change strap, along with a coordinating burgundy watch winder included in the set.
The Manchette and Its Variants
Six references spread across six wrists that evening, with the Classics Manchette accounting for three of them.

At 25.7 by 20 mm and 6.45 mm thick, the Manchette’s square quartz case sits on a seven-row stainless steel bracelet with a faceted Clou de Paris finish. Katya Tolstova stacked two silver-tone versions with diamond pavé dials; Olga Ferrara chose the natural malachite dial with an olive Sergio Soldano gown; Amina Vassa wore the gold-tone edition with a turquoise dial. The diamond-set variant carries 158 stones.
Carrée and Double Heart Beat
Katlean De Monchy’s choice — the Classics Carrée Small Seconds with a diamond-set case, Roman-numeral silver dial and small seconds at 6 o’clock — sits in quartz territory. Its bracelet and black leather strap options offer practical flexibility within a formal silhouette.

Tijana Ibrahimovic wore the 36 mm polished steel Classics Ladies Double Heart Beat with a green malachite dial, diamond indexes and a custom burgundy strap. Its FC-313 automatic calibre is visible through the double heart-shaped aperture at 6 o’clock; a 68-hour power reserve keeps the movement running through the following weekend.
