Signature Features
Reference MU05-103 draws its visual language directly from the blueprint drawings that engineers use to define technical components before fabrication. The blue achieved here is no paint or lacquer: an advanced anodising process applied to the six-part titanium dial produces the specific wavelength associated with precision draughtsmanship. The result is a dial that reads simultaneously as technical document and collector object.
Grade 5 titanium governs the entire case: 44 mm in diameter, 13 mm thick, 36 components. Sapphire crystal, glareproofed on both dial side and caseback, keeps the skeleton calibre visible from every angle without interference from reflected light.
Movement & Materials
The MM01-SK calibre is built entirely in-house. At 33 mm diameter and 6.55 mm thick, it carries 167 components across 25 jewels, beating at 4 Hz for a 55-hour power reserve. Automatic bidirectional winding via a snailed tungsten oscillating weight with anthracite NAC coating keeps the reserve replenished through normal wear.
Finishing on the movement is extensive. Bridges are snailed and hollowed with a microblasted structure, their angles diamond-polished. The mainplate receives the same anthracite NAC treatment as the rotor. Gear wheels are rhodium-plated and circular satin-brushed; the pallet bridge carries a sunburst and nickel-plated finish. Steel screws appear with polished heads. This level of decoration is rare at any edition size; at 13 pieces, it reflects a workshop operating entirely outside volume constraints.
At night, luminescent-tipped hands in rose gold cut against the SLN lines ruled across the dial, creating the living tableau the press material describes. The distinction between the warm tone of the rose gold and the brilliant white of the luminescent indices is precise and intentional.

Heritage & Lineage
Mauron Musy was founded in 2013 in the Broye Valley, in Switzerland’s Three Lakes region, by Eric Mauron and Christophe Musy. Both came from precision mechanics, and their founding concern was not aesthetics but a specific technical problem: the polymer O-ring gasket, universal in the industry, degrades with age and demands costly servicing. Their answer was the nO-Ring® system.
The nO-Ring® requires 36 highly technical elements to achieve a mechanical seal guaranteed to 300 metres, with no polymer component in the path of the water. The system is patented and remains exclusive to Mauron Musy, the only watch brand to have commercialised a fully mechanical gasket-free water-resistance solution. For the Fondation Haute Horlogerie and those who track independent innovation outside the major fairs, including Watches and Wonders, this constitutes a genuine complication of the case rather than merely of the movement.
The Swiss Crafted label carried by the MU05-103 goes beyond the legal Swiss Made designation. It certifies that 100% of the watch was designed and produced in Switzerland, a standard the brand treats as an industrial manifesto.

Frequently Asked Questions
What movement powers the Mauron Musy MU05-103 Blueprint Titanium Skeleton?
The MU05-103 is powered by the in-house MM01-SK calibre, an exclusive self-winding movement measuring 33 mm in diameter and 6.55 mm thick. It operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and delivers a 55-hour power reserve across 167 components and 25 jewels.
How large is the MU05-103 case, and what material is used?
The case measures 44 mm in diameter and 13 mm thick, crafted entirely from grade 5 titanium. It comprises 36 components and features glareproofed sapphire crystal on both the front and caseback.
What is the nO-Ring® system and how does it differ from conventional watch water resistance?
The patented nO-Ring® is a mechanical, gasket-free water-resistance system developed entirely in-house by Mauron Musy. Unlike polymer O-rings that degrade and require periodic servicing, this system uses 36 highly technical elements to achieve a waterproof seal guaranteed to 300 metres without reliance on any rubber or polymer gasket.
How many pieces of the MU05-103 Blueprint Titanium Skeleton are produced?
The edition is strictly limited to 13 pieces, each stamped with its individual serial number and carrying the Swiss Crafted inscription, which certifies that 100% of the watch was designed and produced in Switzerland.
Does the MU05-103 include interchangeable straps?
The watch is delivered with two straps combining leather and rubber, both designed for tool-free interchangeability and secured by a folding clasp.
