Bremont Terra Nova 35mm Jumping Hour: Five New Additions for 2026

Bremont expands the Terra Nova Jumping Hour with a new 35mm case and burgundy dial. Unveiled at Geneva Watch Days 2026. BC634 calibre, 904L steel.

The Vantage Point

  • Exclusively unveiled at Geneva Watch Days in September 2026, Bremont’s five new Terra Nova Jumping Hour additions extend a collection that began reshaping British watchmaking’s relationship with the montre à guichet display.
  • A new 35mm cushion-shaped case in 904L steel broadens the collection’s wearability, offering a compact dress-watch proportion alongside the existing 40.5mm.
  • Bremont Calibre BC634 powers every variant: 54-hour power reserve, 28,800 bph, and an instantaneous hour jump completed in under one-tenth of a second.
  • Two of the five new references are limited editions: the Frosted (150 pieces) and the Frosted Pink (200 pieces).

Case & Finishing

The 35mm case measures 40.93mm lug-to-lug and 8.90mm deep on the standard and Frosted variants, rising to 10.30mm on the Burgundy and Frosted Pink, which add a central seconds hand. Bremont specifies 904L steel throughout, the same grade used by a handful of manufacturers for its corrosion resistance and surface hardness. The cushion silhouette carries shortened lugs and a push-in crown, details drawn from early 20th-century military pocket watches that the Terra Nova collection has translated into a contemporary dress-watch proportion.

The Frosted references introduce a textured surface treatment across the case, producing a faceted shimmer as light changes angle. Bremont applied the same finish to the Terra Nova Jumping Hour Aventurine in 2025; on the new 35mm Frosted, the mono-chrome steel execution makes the geometric form more legible. The Frosted Pink pairs this case treatment with pale pink nubuck leather and applied diamond and star hour markers on the dial.

Dial & Display Architecture

The standard Terra Nova 35 uses a closed-case architecture: two individual sapphire crystals cover the hour aperture at 12 o’clock and the minute aperture at 6 o’clock, with a magnifier fitted over the minute window. The Burgundy variant takes a different approach, opening a flat anti-reflective sapphire crystal across the full dial face, revealing a sunray-lacquered burgundy surface with applied silver star and dot hour markers and a polished rhodium centre seconds hand. The water resistance increases accordingly, from 3 ATM on the closed-case models to 10 ATM on the Burgundy and Frosted Pink references.

Bremont CEO Davide Cerrato describes burgundy as “continuing to build our world of British colours, following on from the success of pink.” The 40.5mm Jumping Hour Burgundy carries the same dial colourway into the original case size, with lume-filled triangular minute-track markers and a full white Super-LumiNova centre seconds hand.

Movement & Materials

The Bremont Calibre BC634, first introduced at Watches and Wonders 2024, was developed exclusively with Sellita. Its Glucydur balance wheel and Anacron balance spring contribute to positional accuracy, while the Nivaflex mainspring supports the 54-hour reserve. The high-torque jumping-hour mechanism delivers the hour change in under 0.1 seconds across all five references, a consistent technical baseline beneath what is otherwise a broad stylistic range.
