ANGELUS
Founded in 1891 by the Stolz brothers, Angelus has built its legacy on technical mastery and chronometric excellence. From its earliest years, the Maison distinguished itself through its expertise in complex mechanisms, notably skeleton tourbillons and chronographs. Initially recognised for producing ébauche movements and pioneering wrist-worn chronographs—most notably the SF 215 calibre—Angelus reached a historic milestone in 1942 with the Chronodato, the world’s first mass-produced chronograph with a date display.
Heritage
This tradition of innovation continues to define Angelus. Rooted in a strong chronograph culture, the brand has consistently demonstrated its ability to push mechanical boundaries while maintaining functional clarity. Its historic achievements form a solid foundation, reflecting a deep understanding of precision engineering and purposeful design.
Modern Vision
Today, Angelus is contemporary, independent, and resolutely creative. Based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the Maison manufactures all of its calibres in-house, a capability underscored by its mastery of flying tourbillon skeleton movements. By blending avant-garde constructions, refined ergonomics, and a bold interplay of materials with the codes of its century-old heritage, Angelus creates timepieces where modernity and history coexist in confident harmony.
