A graphic reinterpretation of an icon
OMEGA opens 2026 with a focused evolution of its most recognised chronograph. The latest OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch duo keeps the classic professional case and step dial, but reimagines them through a sharply contrasted black and white layout using a double-plate construction.
The upper plate is polished black, varnished and lacquered for a pronounced sheen, with rhodium-plated frames around each subdial. Beneath, the white base layer forms the subdials, also varnished and lacquered, creating clear recesses that emphasise the stepped architecture.

Minute tracks are clearly separated: white transfers on the main black dial for instant legibility, and black transfers within the white subdials to reinforce the almost photographic-negative effect. Around this monochrome display, black ceramic bezel rings carry tachymeter scales in white enamel, combining durability with strong contrast.
Over the dial, a box-form scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment maintains the familiar Moonwatch profile while sharpening the view of the stepped dial. Each model is fitted to a polished-brushed Moonwatch bracelet with OMEGA’s patented comfort release adjustment system for easy fine-tuning on the wrist.
Two expressions: steel and Moonshine™ Gold
The collection centres on two 42 mm references sharing the same dial architecture but offering different personalities. The stainless steel version emphasises the technical side of the design, with rhodium-plated hands and hour markers filled with white Super-LumiNova for clean, instrument-like readability against the black and white dial.

Alongside it, OMEGA offers an 18K Moonshine™ Gold model in the brand’s proprietary yellow gold alloy. Here, the hour and minute hands, subdial hands and hour markers are crafted in 18K Moonshine™ Gold with white Super-LumiNova, while the central chronograph hand is finished in PVD Moonshine™ Gold, bringing a warmer reading of the same monochrome dial layout.

Movement and certification
Both new OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch professional references are driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861. Evolving the famous lineage that powered earlier lunar expeditions, this movement supports a blend of heritage styling and modern performance, with Master Chronometer certification covering precision, overall performance and magnetic resistance.
Why it matters
By reimagining the OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch dial through a precise black and white double-plate construction, OMEGA updates an icon without losing its core identity. The mix of ceramic, enamel, Moonshine™ Gold and the Master Chronometer Calibre 3861 positions these references as confident, contemporary takes on the Moonwatch for collectors who prioritise design clarity and technical substance.
For enthusiasts across the GCC following the next chapter of the Speedmaster story, this monochrome duo delivers a focused evolution of a proven daily chronograph, ready to sit alongside earlier Moonwatch generations in a considered collection.
