The Story Behind It

The Farallon Islands, a rocky archipelago roughly 30 miles west of San Francisco, are known locally as “the Devil’s Teeth.” They are a protected marine sanctuary, home to dense colonies of seabirds, marine mammals, and one of the highest concentrations of Great White Sharks in the world.

Topper Jewelers has built a running series of DOXA editions around this geography, each one in the brand’s signature white-and-navy livery. This T.Graph II continues that thread, adding a custom caseback engraving of the apex predator itself.

The commercial context matters too. DOXA re-introduced the T.Graph to its catalogue in June 2026, after a long absence. The Great White Topper Edition arrives directly in the wake of that return, extending the model’s reach into retailer-exclusive territory from its first season back.

Design & Mechanics

The dial is fully luminous, treated with Super-LumiNova BGW9 for blue emission in darkness. There is no date, a deliberate choice that preserves the SUB’s characteristic dial asymmetry and lets the lume signature read cleanly at depth.

Blue lacquer finishes the hands, hour markers, and the bezel engravings in a consistent palette. The unidirectional rotating bezel, with its deep sawtooth edges, carries dual engravings calibrated to elapsed dive time and no-stop decompression limits per US Navy diving tables — functional specificity that has defined the SUB since 1967.

The SW 510 Elaboré is a Swiss-made automatic chronograph with a 50-hour power reserve. Its layout is classical: centre-mounted minute hand for the 60-second counter, 30-minute totaliser sub-dial at 3:00, running seconds at 9:00. An AR-coated flat sapphire crystal completes the package, a direct reference to DOXA’s 1968 original.

On the Wrist

At 42mm across and 14.6mm thick, the T.Graph II sits with authority. The 316L stainless steel case is fully brushed. Water resistance is rated to 200 metres. The 44.5mm lug-to-lug dimension is substantial, though the beads-of-rice bracelet, which includes a ratcheting wetsuit extension, distributes that presence effectively.

A navy blue FKM rubber strap on DOXA’s own stainless steel folding clasp is included as a second option. Both straps use 20mm lugs. For GCC collectors who favour versatility, the rubber alternative reads differently across seasons.

Where It Sits in the Brand Line-Up

DOXA was founded in Le Locle in 1889 and holds a specific place in dive-watch history: it was the first manufacturer to offer a public-market dive watch with a no-stop decompression bezel, in 1967. The brand’s positioning has remained consistent since, prioritising functional quality at accessible prices.

At $4,690 USD across 100 pieces, the Great White Topper Edition occupies the more specialist end of DOXA’s range without crossing into the territory of the independent houses that Topper also carries, including Armin Strom and ORIS. The edition size of 100 is tight enough to support secondary-market interest.

Topper will donate a portion of proceeds to the Greater Farallones Association, which works to restore and protect the 3,295-square-mile marine sanctuary off the California coast. This is the third consecutive DOXA collaboration for which the retailer has made that commitment.
