SUNREEF YACHTS

Sunreef Yachts was founded in 2002 by Francis Lapp in Gdańsk, Poland, to build luxury catamarans for his yacht charter business. The shipyard has since become one of the reference names in multihull yachting, with production facilities in Gdańsk and in Ras Al Khaimah, in the United Arab Emirates.

Heritage

In 2003 the yard launched the Sunreef 74, presented as the world’s first 74-foot luxury oceangoing catamaran with a flybridge, a design that reshaped the idea of what a multihull could offer on board. Francis Lapp, founder and president, still leads a house that specialises in bespoke catamarans and multihull superyachts, each one shaped around the brief of its owner.

Collections

The range spans sailing catamarans from the Sunreef 50 to the Sunreef 100, the Sunreef Power motor yachts, the performance-led Ultima line, including the BRABUS Ultima 55 created with BRABUS, and superyachts of 37, 43 and 49 metres alongside the Explorer series. Its Solar Skin technology integrates solar panels into the hulls, superstructure and bimini, the principle behind the Eco yachts such as the Sunreef 100 Eco, presented at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2026. The Ultima 88, chosen by Carlos Alcaraz as his first yacht, made its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.
