After decades spent within the confines of corporate watchmaking, Maximilian Büsser chose a different path in 2005, initiating a creative rebellion known as MB&F—Maximilian Büsser & Friends. Conceived as an alternative to conventional structures, MB&F was founded on the belief that watchmaking could be liberated through collaboration, imagination, and a refusal to accept inherited rules without question.

Creative Laboratory

MB&F functions as an artistic concept laboratory, bringing together collectives of independent watchmaking professionals to create radical timepieces known as Horological and Legacy Machines. Each project is shaped by the synergy of talented individuals whose passion and creativity are openly acknowledged. By respecting tradition while never being constrained by it, MB&F transforms classical, high-quality watchmaking into three-dimensional kinetic sculptures that redefine how time can be expressed.

MB&F has received numerous accolades from the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, including the most prestigious distinction, the Aiguille d’Or.
