SWISS ARABIAN
Swiss Arabian was founded in Sharjah in 1974 by Hussein Adam Ali, a perfumer from Yemen who set up the first fragrance factory in the United Arab Emirates in partnership with the Swiss house Givaudan. The name says it all: European technique applied to Arabian materials. Fifty years later the group runs six factories in Sharjah, more than a hundred boutiques of its own and exports to the Gulf, Europe and the United States.
Heritage
The house was the first perfume manufacturer in the region to earn ISO 9001 certification, and it still blends, bottles and packages in-house. Three employees in a trading office became a thousand-strong company without leaving the emirate where it started.

Shaghaf Oud is the bestseller that made the name abroad. In 2025 the Cities Collection, with Dubai, Bali, Casablanca, Valencia and Venice, translated the founder’s idea of two worlds meeting into extraits de parfum sold in illustrated flacons.
