ARABIAN OUD

Founded in Riyadh in 1982 by Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Jasser, Arabian Oud is the largest oriental fragrance house in the world, with more than 1,200 boutiques in 37 countries and a flagship on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. The house built its name on oud, the resinous agarwood at the heart of Arabian perfumery, and on the ritual of layering oils, bakhoor and sprays that families in the Kingdom pass from one generation to the next.

Heritage

What began as a single shop in the Saudi capital grew into an integrated house that sources agarwood, distils its own oud oils and blends every composition in-house. That control over the raw material is what sets Arabian Oud apart from perfumers who buy oud on the open market, and it explains the depth of its darker blends.

Collections

Kalemat, the house’s best-known oriental blend, sits alongside Madawi and the woody and floral lines that fill its boutiques. In 2026 the Arabian Blend collection, with Jabal Tamya among its names, brought the mountains and deserts of Saudi Arabia into modern spray compositions. Limited editions mark Ramadan, Eid and the Saudi National Day each year.
