XERJOFF
Xerjoff was founded in Turin in 2007 by Sergio Momo and Dominique Salvo, united by a desire to elevate the craft of perfumery. The name comes from “Joff”, a nickname given to Momo by his Slavic grandmother, which English colleagues extended to “Sir Joff”. A former painter and designer who studied perfumery in Grasse, Momo imagined each creation as a work of art within a work of art.
Heritage
The first collection, 17/17 Stone Label, arrived in 2007, followed by Shooting Stars in 2009, with semi-precious stones, meteorite fragments and gold-plated caps. The signature cap, designed by Dominique Salvo after the Egyptian Museum in Turin, recalls the Deshret, the red crown of the pharaohs. In 2009 Xerjoff revived Casamorati, the Bologna perfume house of 1888, and in 2010 opened its first boutique at The Dubai Mall, followed by boutiques at Harrods in London.
Collections
Perfumes, attars and scented candles unfold across collections such as 1861, conceived as the essence of Italy, Join the Club, Oud Stars and Blends, with fragrances like Erba Pura. A sponsor of the ATP Finals since the tournament came to Turin in 2021, the house releases tennis-inspired scents each year. Xerjoff remains privately owned, led by its founder Sergio Momo.
