LA FABRIQUE DU TEMPS LV

La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton is the Swiss watchmaking Manufacture where the Maison’s most accomplished timepieces are conceived, developed, and produced. Located in Meyrin, Geneva, at the heart of haute horlogerie, it brings together movements, cases, dials, and artistic crafts under one roof. Far more than an assembly site, it embodies Louis Vuitton’s commitment to true watchmaking creation, combining technical mastery with refined artistic expression.

From Independent Roots

Founded in 2007 by master watchmakers Michel Navas and Enrico Barbasini, La Fabrique du Temps was originally an independent workshop dedicated to high complications and traditional craftsmanship. Acquired by Louis Vuitton in 2011, it became the cornerstone of the Maison’s watchmaking ambitions, integrating the expertise, talent, and vision required to develop sophisticated mechanical timepieces entirely in-house.

Mechanics and Craft

Within La Fabrique du Temps, specialized ateliers focus on movements, cases, dials, and decorative arts, including engraving, enamelling, guilloché, and miniature painting. The Manufacture creates patented movements, tourbillons bearing the Geneva Seal, minute repeaters, and complex automata. This seamless union of engineering precision and artisanal savoir-faire defines the soul of Louis Vuitton’s most exceptional watches, elevating them beyond function into enduring works of horological art.
