TOM FORD
Tom Ford launched his own house in 2005 after leaving Gucci, and Black Orchid, the first fragrance, followed in 2006. Tom Ford Beauty grew into a billion-dollar business built on scent rather than fashion, and in 2023 the Estée Lauder Companies bought the brand outright for 2.8 billion dollars, keeping the beauty division and licensing the clothing to Zegna.
Heritage
The Private Blend collection, introduced in 2007, is the reason the name matters in the Gulf: Oud Wood, Tobacco Vanille and Lost Cherry are among the most worn Western fragrances in Dubai and Riyadh, and the house was one of the first Western brands to put oud at the centre of a luxury line.
Collections
Signature fragrances such as Black Orchid and Ombré Leather sit beside the Private Blend and its yearly additions; Tobacco Chocolat, an amber gourmand launched in 2026, is the latest. The beauty line also covers lipsticks, foundations and the Soleil summer collections.
