A new mineral shade for Hublot’s icons
Hublot expands the Big Bang universe with a dedicated Coal Blue palette created for four references. The shade departs from the brand’s usual vibrant colours, blending saturated blue with grey and black for a mineral, storm-toned character.
The colour is applied to the round Big Bang Original Unico and the tonneau-shaped Spirit of Big Bang, each with solid Coal Blue dials stamped with a geometric pattern inspired by carbon fibre. Alternating satin-finished and polished squares create a three-dimensional “carbon effect” that draws attention to the mechanics below.

Titanium Coal Blue
The 43 mm Big Bang Original Unico Titanium Coal Blue merges the original Big Bang design with current Unico architecture. Its satin-finished and polished titanium case, 13.20 mm thick and water-resistant to 100 metres, frames a stamped satin-finished Coal Blue “Carbon Effect” dial.
Inside is the HUB1280 UNICO manufacture self-winding flyback chronograph with integrated column wheel, silicon lever escapement, 72-hour power reserve and a date at 4:30. The Spirit of Big Bang Titanium Coal Blue translates this into a 42 mm tonneau form, 14.10 mm thick, combining satin, polished and microblasted titanium surfaces around a Coal Blue “Carbon Effect” dial that reveals the skeletonised HUB4700 calibre.
The HUB4700 self-winding chronograph operates at 5 Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour), provides a 50-hour power reserve and displays the date at 4:30. Both titanium models feature sapphire casebacks with anti-reflective coating, six H-shaped titanium screws on the bezel and the One-Click interchangeable system with Coal Blue structured or lined rubber straps and titanium deployant buckles.

Coal Blue Diamonds
Reflecting Coal Blue’s mineral inspiration, Hublot turns to diamond for two compact stainless-steel interpretations. The 33 mm Big Bang One Click Coal Blue Diamonds uses a satin-finished and polished steel case 10.55 mm thick, with a polished stainless-steel bezel set with 36 diamonds totalling 0.76 carat and a sunray-finished Coal Blue dial.
Driven by the HUB1120 self-winding movement with a 40-hour power reserve and date at 3 o’clock, it preserves the Big Bang’s easy-wear ergonomics. The 32 mm Spirit of Big Bang Coal Blue Diamonds mirrors the formula in a tonneau silhouette with an 11.10 mm-thick satin-finished and polished steel case and a bezel set with 44 diamonds totalling 0.70 carat.
Its Coal Blue sunray dial is also powered by the HUB1120 calibre, here with date at 6 o’clock and a 40-hour reserve. Both models use diamonds certified under the Responsible Jewellery Council and Kimberley Process frameworks that meet F–G colour, VVS clarity and Excellent cut criteria, while lined Coal Blue rubber straps and stainless-steel deployant buckles support daily wear.

Why it matters
By introducing a dedicated Coal Blue palette across Big Bang and Spirit of Big Bang, Hublot extends its “Art of Fusion” to colour as well as materials and form. The collection unites in-house calibres, high-frequency chronographs, ethical diamonds and modular straps, giving GCC collectors a focused way to experience the brand’s latest design language.
The Coal Blue editions are presented at selected Hublot points of sale and on hublot.com, offering regional clients multiple touchpoints to explore these references alongside the wider Hublot Big Bang collections.
