Crafted from 18k rose gold, the Silhouette CX Snake captivates with its sensuous and captivating design. Its asymmetrical curves and undulating design subtly reveal the snake’s silhouette without fully exposing its head or tail.
Guided by the House’s co-founder and master casemaker, Vartan Sirmakes, the new case design is a singular evolution of the Curvex CX, itself a modern reimagining of the Vanguard and the legendary Cintrée Curvex. The Silhouette CX Snake reflects the snake’s mesmerizing, sinuous motion, creating a tactile and visual experience that is both dynamic and elegant.
This Asia Pacific exclusive timepiece, limited to only 28 pieces, follows the legacy of Franck Muller’s previous zodiac-themed watches. It echoes the ethos of its predecessors, including 2023’s #FR2NCKMULLER Vanguard Rabbit and 2024’s Cintrée Curvex Ryoko Kaneta Dragon Limited Edition, by breaking new ground in watchmaking.
The Silhouette CX Case Limited Edition showcases meticulous craftsmanship. Due to the unique asymmetrical design, traditional methods of dimensional control could not be applied. Every component was meticulously crafted using advanced 3D CNC techniques.
The sapphire glass, extending seamlessly to the lugs, poses a great technical challenge. It is a marvel of modern engineering, shaped into its spherical form through advanced diamond grinding and CNC machining.
This crystal complements the unique case shape, curving in two directions from 3 o’clock to 9 o’clock and from 6 o’clock to 12 o’clock.
The dial’s asymmetry aligns perfectly with the case, featuring numerals arranged and manipulated for aesthetic harmony. Using 3D CNC machining, the dial merges precision and artistry.
