In 2014, Parmigiani Fleurier signed a selective partnership with the Musée de l’Elysée in Lausanne.

This partnership is part of a long-term commitment to support the art of photography and the emerging talent of the future. It links two brands that share the same desire to preserve the legacy of the past in their respective fields while, at the same time, encouraging learning and development among future generations.

The Musée de l’Elysée is a world-renowned institution devoted entirely to photography. Since it was founded in 1985, the museum has been researching this art and seeking to broaden its appeal thanks to innovative exhibitions at its base in Lausanne and at museums and festivals throughout the world.

The Musée de l’Elysée is a centre of excellence in the conservation and appreciation of visual heritage. It holds a unique collection of over 100,000 prints and several highly prestigious photographic archives, in particular those of Ella Maillart, Nicolas Bouvier, Charlie Chaplin, Marcel Imsand and René Burri.

Aside from the treasures of the past, nothing is more important than identifying and nurturing the artists of the future. Parmigiani Fleurier and the Musée de l’Elysée have placed this mission at the heart of their philosophy and their day-to-day activities. Together they have created a two-part initiative to achieve their objective.

Firstly, the "reGeneration" project, in association with Parmigiani Fleurier, which aims to support and encourage young photographers who have recently graduated or just completed their training, and to provide the most talented with the opportunity to exhibit their work internationally and gain recognition in order to launch their careers.

Secondly, the "Prix Elysée", of which Parmigiani Fleurier is the exclusive partner, will be awarded to a photographer voted the winner in a competition. A substantial scholarship will enable this photographer to produce a new work and a high-quality book. This is a way to encourage creativity in the long term and set a benchmark for the next generation.
